Green Motor Insurance

Green Motor Insurance
The cost of car ownership in UK?

We are now expected to be ‘green’ and eco friendly in our day to day lives. Is it a justifiable policy to increase the cost of Petrol/Cartax/Insurance/Road tolls etc, to reduce the number of vehicles on the road.
If the price of car ownership is forced beyond the means of the average punter, who would benefit? Would people elect to use public transport if it was of good quality or would it be forced upon them due to their financial inability to own a car?
Will society accept the loss of the car to ordinary folks?
Are we under pressure to be ‘green’ or are we being conditioned to accept that one day the Motor Vehicle will be the preserve of the rich as it was 50 years or so ago?

Well put! I totally agree….the government are using this as an excuse to cream yet more money off us, whilst the majority of them drive around in big cars!!!!!!!!
